Participant Booklet
Please read the information given below carefully, in order to have the best possible experience at
the event.
At the Bib Expo, all participants need to collect the Bib from the designated venue, irrespective of any reason. If your bib is misplaced or lost, you will not be allowed to participate. NO BIB SHALL BE GIVEN ON RACE DAY.

Things to bring to collect bib:
- Confirmation Email / SMS or SMS showing BIB number (Bib SMS will come after 5th February)
- Aadhar card
The Bib number assigned to you corresponds with the information you had provided at the time of registering for the event. You must not use someone else’s Bib number, nor let someone else use your bib. Any exchange will lead to disqualification of your participation.
Please do not misplace your number – we do not have spare bibs to replace your lost number bib.
The running category you have been confirmed in, has been mentioned on your bib. You must pin your Bib number to the front of your tshirt, secured with safety pins provided to you. Please do not cut or alter the bib in any way – the entire bib must be clearly visible to all.
Precautions to be taken for bib:Â Â Â Â
- The bib tag is stuck on the back of your bib.
- DO NOT fold or crumple your number bib or bib tag.
- While pinning on the number bib, ensure you DO NOT pierce the tag.
- DO NOT remove or tamper with the bib tag in any way.
- DO NOT separate or remove the bib tag from the bib.
- DO NOT let your bib come in contact with any kind of magnetic field (eg: television, music system, etc.)
Most medical emergencies during a running event occur with people who push themselves on that day or have not adequately trained or are unwell. If you feel feverish, or have been vomiting, have had severe diarrhoea or chest pains or generally are feeling unwell, then it is unfair to you and your family to risk serious illness and become a medical emergency.
Irrespective of whatever may be your age or for how long you may have trained, we sincerely advise you to obtain a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner/doctor permitting you to run in the event, if you answer any of below questions as Yes.

If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your doctor before you come for cycling.
The Event promoter and sponsors/partners will not be responsible for any injury, of whatsoever nature, that may be caused on the event day or thereafter as a result of the event.

- Participants must wear fully enclosed shoes, to avoid injuries.

Optional:
a) A pair of warm clothes after running
b) A bag to change clothes. You can deposit the bag at the Baggage Counter, and take it back after your run is over. Your bib shall be the token number for the bag.
- Not being in medically fit condition.
- Using loud Bluetooth speakers.
- Overtaking someone in a dangerous manner, putting their life at risk.
- Disturbing running progress of others while eating, or overtaking. Use Nutrition Points for eating/ drinking, or move to a side, from main route.
- Not giving way to a runner to overtake, when asked and where possible.
- Pushing / injuring someone
- Not helping another runner, or not informing the course marshall or the event helpline.
- Littering on the route or throwing any food packets, wrappers or other waste on the trail. Please use dustbins given at various points.
- Not displaying the bib at any time of the event.
- Any uproar behaviour or throwing tantrums during the event.
- Any kind of profanity or immoral behaviour towards other competitors or race workers.
- Any deviation from the original route will result in disqualification unless the participant re-enters the course at point of exit. If you cut the course, intentionally or not, own up to it, we’ll let you finish in last place (it happens, we understand). If you don’t own up to it, and at least 3 people can testify to it, we kick you out of the event and publicly humiliate you. It’s not cool.
- Spitting, throwing stuff at any other person.
- Needless to say that, if you need to attend to nature’s call, do that in toilets enroute, or at a spot which is away from the route and where no one gets inconvenienced.

How to reach:
By Road: The Golden Pagoda, Namsai is accessible from all parts of Arunachal Pradesh or North East India. One can reach by state bus, private bus, own car or take a taxi. The road is smooth. - By Train: One can book a train for Dibrugarh Railway Station (118 km away) OR New Tinsukia Railway Station (97 km away) And then take a private / shared taxi from there. There shall be buses plying for Namsai on 7 and 8 February. Contact Gautam on +91 91012 12213 for buses or taxis.
- By Air: One can take a flight for Dibrugarh Airport (Mohanbari Airport) and take a private / shared taxi from there to Namsai. There shall be buses plying for Namsai on 7 and 8 February. Contact Gautam on +91 91012 12213 for buses or taxis.

There is ample parking for cars/ buses, at the venue.

- Warm up Zone
- Toilets: There would be toilets at the venue, and some public toilets on the running route.
- Hydration: Hydration points will be there at start point, finish line and after every 3 km of the running route.
- Nutrition: Nutrition Zone will be there at finish line and mid-point of 21 km.
- Recovery Zone: Shall be there after the finish line to help you do stretching & rolling to relax your muscles.
- Medical assistance: Medical Assistance and suitable facilities for minor injuries shall be available, along with ambulance.
- Medal: You can collect your finishers’ medal after the finish line.
All runners shall receive refreshments at the refreshment counter after completing.

Anyone reaching later than 10 min after flag off, will not be allowed to participate.
- The decision taken by the organisers about winners, based on the verdict of the Race Timing team shall be final and binding. No disputes shall be entertained.
- Only the winners of Open Category shall be announced on the race day.
- All Age category winners shall be announced on the website, 48 hours after the event.
- Prize money shall be remitted to all winners’ bank account within 60 days of the event, after due diligence. Our team shall contact you for taking your bank account details.
- All participants who complete the running route in the given time shall be entitled to receive a Finisher’s medal.
- Any participants who do not complete the running shall be declared as DNF (Did Not Finish) and will not be entitled to medal.
In case of medical emergencies, the following hospitals are located near the venue – District Hospital, Namsai. There are multiple ambulances.
